I hope the present company will be so kind as to excuse my presumption - I'm a complete stranger around here, and live in quite another part of the forest most of the time - but an unexpected J/W bunny leapt out at me a little while ago. The resulting little tale is an orphan and in need of a home to go to where it might mingle happily with others of its ilk.
I would be most obliged if anyone could let me know where best to send/post it.
As I have presented myself on your doorstep without so much as a by-your-leave or a letter of introduction, I should perhaps mention that the bunny was the result of going on a re-reading bender and re-devouring (after a lapse of some years) every single one (I think!) of the books, so they were fresh in my mind.
"Joy in the Evening", 4,600 words, un-beta'd (some parts work, I think, while others work less well!) and quite definitely slash (though not graphic).
Many thanks!
ETA whoops, quite forgot to mention - seen and loved all the eps too, of course! And am a devotee of both, but Fry in particular - especially on QI!

Copy and paste the story into an LJ cut. To make a cut, simply go < lj-cut text="Thing you want the cut to say in its sort of hyperlink thingy." >
PASTE FIC HERE.
< /lj-cut >
Except when you do it for real, take the space out after the < and before the >

Date: 2009-01-25 10:04 pm (UTC)Posting can be a peculiar thing - I'm fairly new to it, myself, but by the time I came to this to say "What, ho! Welcome, old thing!" it looks like you managed just fine.
So, see above welcome and hope to see you around more often.
Ooh, are there any more biscuits?
