Also, check out "I'm not getting married today". It's about someone at the altar falling into an absolute panic, but not quite having the courage to be truly upfront about it, and no-one seeming to notice. I imagine it's what Bertie would have flying through his head if he got stuck at the altar.

Bertie would be, I think, dully resigned if he found himself at the altar (except as best man of course), but Jeeves wouldn't allow it. :)

Come to think of it, I don't know why the aunts are in such a panic to get Bertie married and bred. He has twin cousins bearing his ugly name (I prefer the traditional spelling) so what is the hurry?
