Spongebath, anyone?

Another illustration from triedunture's marvelous fanfic "The Long Road". Chapter 8, the spongebath.

This pic took ages to make. And I mean it!
I sketched and re-sketched those faces so many times that the paper was about to burst, and I had to stop after 20 attempts or so. And I'm still not totally satisfied with them, there is something seriously wrong with their expressions, but oh well. They're feeling awkward or something and that explains the empty gazes, eh?

I'm still not sure if I should have used the black-and-white version instead of this (Bertie's hair is just crazy). But nah. Enough of my blabbering, make your own opinions :D

Gorgeous art! Esp the cloth creases (not that I have a weird crease fetish or anything...) Lol, seriously though, I think it's a lovely piece.
