Art! (aka Look! I'm actually contributing something!)

I've been trying to learn how to do art on the computer. The bad news is I haven't a clue what I'm doing, so everything is very...experimental (and nothing comes out quite the way I want it to). The good news is there's art being produced. Today it's Jooster art.





May I just say that I cannot figure out how to do texture. Also, blending? Such a pain.

I was an art minor years ago when I was an undergrad, but I don't art as much anymore so I'm rather out of practice. I also worked mostly with black and white traditional media--pencil, charcoal, occasionally ink--so working in color and on the computer is new and challenging.
