Beware the bay mare

Couple of days ago I read again my absolute favorite fic, The Long Road by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
triedunture. I've been considering about making some sort of comic adaption from it, but then I realized that I just couldn't tear the text apart and it would be impossible for me to cram the atmosphere in little boxes.. IMO it should be read as it is written.
So I decided to make separate illustrations, and here is the first one!
It is from Bertie's nightmare (chapter 10). I took some artistic liberties, but the missing saddle is something I realized just after inking.. x_x Oh well. It is a dream, dash it! :D
I've never been really into horses and this was the first one I've ever drawn. It was pretty exciting, actually.

The text is completely by triedunture, and I take no credit from it. The picture is nevertheless mine. And yes, I have a permission to use the text.
