I've been dying for some time to rec [livejournal.com profile] dark_eyed_seer's fanfiction to this community but I wanted to wait until I had permission, first. Now that I do, I'm all a-quiver. Where to start? I don't want to prattle on for too long and cause a case of tl;dr, so I'll try and keep this short and to the point.

In Jooster-land, if anyone remembers the spooky-and-pre-slashy Bedlam, it now has a (slightly more cheerful, but still kinda scary) sequel: Ether.

Secondly, she's branched out into Kingdom (I KNOW--Kingdom!) slash, pairing Peter with an OC based on... well, it rhymes with "clue." It's called Medicine Man.

And last but not least, some bittersweet and oddly domestic Mr. Burmie fic. I don't want to ruin the plot, but I'm sure that by now you can see there's a bit of a theme going.

Ooh, thanks ever so for the recs! Loved the spooky Joosters, and the Mr Burmie. Somehow I missed hearing about Kingdom until now; I’ll be rectifying that lapse ASAP!

dancing out on 7th street, dancing through the underground?

...glad I wasn't the only one thinking something along those lines could possibly be happening. My apologies to anybody who is not a sockpuppet or an owner of one, but you can't read the MsScribe story without getting cynical about these things, and a couple of the things posted here in the past two months have been slightly suspect.

There you go. Knock yourselves out. Are we secretly the same person? You can now decide!

Okay, I apologise for saying this post was sockpuppetry and am happy to be proved wrong. The only reason it blipped on my radar was that two (http://community.livejournal.com/indeedsir/390126.html) other (http://community.livejournal.com/indeedsir/401418.html) posts looked somewhat suspicious to me (from two low-activity members who, as far as I can tell, never posted here before or after raising an author's profile), so a third pimp made me think "hmmm." Sorry for that.

Okay, I feel like a bitch for starting this, but considering the previous posts, the posts today, and the fact that at least 75% of what she linked to is off topic for this com, I don't think my suggestion was unjustified.

I have no idea what Kingdom is about, but Ether was very interesting to read. Thanks for telling us about it. :-)

Thank you extremely much for bringing [livejournal.com profile] dark_eyed_seer's work to my attention! She's a very talented author indeed and even if this isn't such a cunning idea since I'm a lurker to this community thus I'm risking to be considered another of your multiple alter egos Image I'm seconding all of your recs! Image

She's tottaly fantastic...I even read and enjoyed her Kingdom story without knowing what kingdom is all about! Image Her original male character which is supposed to be an amalgam of characters played by Hugh Laurie was so cute and sweet...
Hehe, I also downloaded Kingdom series and planning to watch it during the week to see what is all really about.

So, once more thank you for the recs and please I'd love to see more of those... Image
