Not so sanguine
Nov. 15th, 2007 07:51 pmDoes everyone remember The Sanguine Cycle, by Han? I first found it in the archives, and then more chapters arrived. We got as far as chapter 17, with a delightful accompanying song sung by Han, that I kept. Then everything stopped.
Han, "woe_in_a_hoodie", where are you? I'm not severely vexed ;-) (except with LJ because it will no longer do a clickable link) but I am worried that this fine series will stay up in the air and not be finished. I mean, Bertie hasn't brought Jeeves to the dark side, yet. Any more? (hopeful look)

Date: 2007-11-17 06:16 pm (UTC)Han is without internet at his home for the moment--with all luck he'll be moving to a place with a cable in a few weeks. But besides that...well, I've been trying to get him to post more of the Cycle. I just called in and read this entry to his ansaphone so hopefully that will inspire him a bit...
...After November's Madness (http://www.nanowrimo.org), of course.

It's obvious Colin is feeling the weight of eternity and has a story to tell. It would be very interesting to know how our sweet, innocent Bertie would turn out if he lived - or unlived - for 100 or 1,000 years, but I don't know if PG himself could work that out. :-) Equally interesting to speculate on how Jeeves would turn out after all that time as well.
