I wrote a drabble the other evening during English class (along with two other several-page one-shot fics, which I may or may not post, depending on how I feel about them after reading them again)...
I think this is probably my best work in this fandom (besides my Random Facts).
Jeeves’ hands were broad and capable, slightly tanned with squared off nails — hands perfectly suited to transporting hot kettles, adjusting neckties, and lifting the weight of woe from his master’s shoulders.
Bertie’s hands were long and pale, with quick, slender fingers and disproportionately narrow palms. Madeline Bassett had once compared his hands to lilies, and he had scoffed at her, but she was rather accurate. Bertie’s hands were best suited to tickling the ivories, holding the stem of a wineglass, and waving away trifling concerns.
However different their hands were, they interlocked like puzzle pieces.
PS. Would anyone be interested in reading a J&W/This Side of Paradise crossover?
