I say! It's been ever so long since I've been here (dead internet and coursework, blee).

We do seem to have some lovely new ficcings! *dives into them like puppy into pile of leaves*

Erm, yes. I was wondering - you know those ever-so-lovely out of context quote-fests we have on occasion? Would anybody be interested if I did one for Raffles? Because I was reading A Thief In The Night again yesterday, and dude. It's canon.

So...interest?

And you might have to wait a bit for this one, but I think I can promise a Saki/Wodehouse crossover in the offing!

(I'm actually watching J&W right now, S2 E4. Oh Bertie! That horrible trombone! *sniggers*)

Also, why on Earth were the Psmith books never televised?! Good God, why?!

...Would anyone read a Raffles/Saki crossover? Because I have a plotbunny that's gnawing on my Achilles tendon, and I might actually write it.

I've already started a Raffles fic. Since this is one of the few places on LJ where fellow Raffles fans hang out, might I humbly beg a beta?

And that's all from me. Love!

Eli :D

Great question.... no young actors with enough charisma and talent to pull off being Psmith?

Subtext for Raffles = SO canon!

Saki/Wodehouse or Saki/Hornung would be amazing and wonderful and why didn't I ever think of that what the hell is wrong with me!

Okay, obviously being in the car all day and drinking double-strength coffee is not good for my brain. Still, I said it and I meant it, and I won't take it back.

As for betaing - I'd be absolutely delighted to do so, but (and I have a big but) it's been years since I read Saki or Hornung and I know there's tons of details I won't remember. Also, I can't say I'm the best grammerian. Still, I'd be delighted to give a read-through for whatever I CAN pick up. It'd be like getting to pretaste the cookies before anyone else gets any. :)

I want a Psmith tv show. That would have made me so happy. As would Saki/Wodehouse crossovers, and it sounds like that's the one I'm more likely to see.
