...but it relates to A Bit of Fry and Laurie, so I hope it's all right. Anyway, I noticed that there was a discussion earlier on the community about the sketch where Hugh slaps Stephen when he's given his address after reporting a robbery. It was called Sound Name, I believe. Anyway, I found it on YouTube and thought I'd link it here so: here ye go!

Wait a sec, so that was the sketch where he accidentally hit Hugh too hard over the head? (Yeah, I know Hugh *said* he did, but I always assumed that was part of the sketch as well)

I sort of assumed the cricket bat was fake. Like any prop needed to inflict "injury" on stage. It's hard to whack someone with a real cricket bat and not break their head open.

Exactly - I figure it was styrofoam or something. And the whole "That was too bloody hard" was just another case of breaking the fourth wall.

Someone should ask Hugh about this. It's curious.

I think it was the single-answer race-car drive sketch where Stephen really biffed him...

Yeah, but Stephen is almost always the one to dole out pnches and wallops. Poor abused Hugh. :)

There's also one where Hugh is singing about America and Stephen gets him to stop by punching him.

Sublimated lust is what that is. ;)

I like the one where everyone on the street is punching Hugh, and they try to convince them to give him money instead.

YouTube has TONS. It's been my new favorite thing between classes.

Lovely to see! :)

By the way, in case you haven't seen them yet, I thought I'd mention that there are a couple of Fry and Laurie communities: [livejournal.com profile] fryandlaurie for the A Bit of Fry and Laurie show, and [livejournal.com profile] fryandorlaurie for all things slash.

Not at all, I just figured that as you were posting A Bit of Fry and Laurie in a Jooster community, you might not have known.

For anyone who wants it, the script for this sketch is over at http://www.geocities.com/mmemym/bits1/fal0012.htm. *cough* it's in my favourites. I'm *that* sad.
