Hello! I was going to wait until I had a fic to post here, but something grabbed my attention this morning and I felt that Indeed, Sir had to be notified.

Obviously Bertie would have it all in the bag, but I wonder how Jeeves would feel about the prizes...

LOL That's great! I wish I'd known about it and gone! Hmm but what to wear?

That's hilarious. I like the "gentlemen against modern culture" description...and almost dead center of the pic you have some dude wearing a HOT PINK suit. And dreadlocks. Yes, just like back in the good ol' days.

Still, it is a good idea -- I do wonder how Jeeves might go about helping Bertie to win, or even enter some of the games himself.

(image nine) Teams compete to mix a dry martini, with the handicap of having no butler to do it for them. ...Ha! That begs for fic.

Indeed. I'd imagine Jeeves would find some clever, round-a-bout way of getting the job done -without- breaking any rules. After all... he's Jeeves. He could do that.

I think, old chap, that if one examined the photo more closely, said chap appears to be from India, therefore we can excuse the slightly unusual straight collar-length hair, and the suit is in a rather deep shade of maroon. (my tailor refers to it as 'darkest cranberry', and he's a definite judge of colour) A little garish perhaps, but acceptable.

My favourite is 'no sporting attire', yet one can quite clearly see cricketing jumpers. Perhaps only the gentlemanly sports are allowed.

LOL! How marvelous! What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon... though I agree, Jeeves would have been not impressed by the ties *g*

Isn't their sponsor, Hendrick's Gin, the gin with cucumber essence in it? Is that good, or bad?

...that is the greatest thing ever.

Oi! Who here is up for a North American colonial chapter? Seriously, I want to run off to Craig's List and start placing the ads now.
