Hi! I've recently revived my love for the Fry-Laurie version of Jeeves and Wooster. It's hard to believe it was almost 15 years since the series aired! I recall watching the shows (most notably the one when Bertie tries to play the trombone) with my mom and laughing even when I didn't fully understand the humor or the Britishness or the Wodehouseness of it.
Anyway, for my first post I have a favor to ask: Can anyone point me to the J/W fic called "The Matter of the Bed" or somesuch? I swear I've seen a longer version than the one that simply ends with Bertie thinking Jeeves must have really loved that woman - the one he thinks Jeeves is dreaming about when they have to share the bed in the teeny beach cottage.
Did I get those details right? I hope I haven't hallucinated a longer version. Either way, I look forward to getting involved here. :)
