Joosterfest? (is a rather fantastic word)

So the two great big slashy fandom fests of the season -- the House/Wilson fest and the Fryandorlaurie Rarethon -- are technically over. Jeeves and Wooster has magnificent fanfiction, but obviously needs more of it. Stat.

Would a Jooster fest be the next logical step?

And sure. Only I don't write Joosterfic, just read it, so I'm afraid I don't really have all that much of a say in this. But there needs to be more jooster fanfictions! Jeeves and Bertie need more loving. :333

yes there should be! and I'd write in it! Only thing is, it would HAVE to be this summer... as in any time past June 15th for me. This is the time of finals and graduations and whatnot. I don't think I'm the only one here, at least in the states, this situation should account for quite a few.

Of course, that would give you plenty of time to find the mods, decide on rules and guidelines, set up challenges, and get writers and so forth...

im sorry i haven't replied to you yet - but im failing three classes because i lost a huge folder with major assignments (those 30% of you grade type of assignments) so now im struggling to re-do it all, and on top of it, my karate teacher says i haven't been coming to class enough, and has informed me that if I ever hope to reach black belt i have to start coming twice as often as i am now, so im going nuts trying to appease her now....

I'll try (operative word here try) and get the story to you tomorrow though - i don't want you to be rushin with it right before you leave...

If it's a matter of failing and having a karate teacher glare at you, I can wait! I had just been getting a little worried that the collaberating idea had falling out of sorts, what with not hearing from you for a bit (forgive the worry, it's happened to me before ^_^).

But anyway, don't kill yourself or your grades over it, I can be patient, honest! Far as I see it, we have all summer and then some Besides, I've been neglected my Jeeves/Wooster fanart50, so I can glare at my drawings in the meanwhile, as I try to figure out what to draw next.

Best of luck with all that required stuff--nonsense, I'm sure, but teachers' put up such a FUSS over it, best to get it done, what.

But definitely, we should have some kind of fest. As I was cleaning out my notebooks at the end of the semester, I found so many scraps of fics that I'd like to flesh out.

I am all for a Jooster-thon, oh yes. And as tihs fandom has actually been making me fiercely want to write, challenges would be right up my alley. Or, maybe I'll stick to th drawing. But I'd love to see a fic-thon go down regardless!

Count me in. With any luck my first Jeeves/Wooster fic (the compound name bothers me for some reason, can't bring myself to use it for this pairing) will be be done soon and I'll be trolling for betas.

Challenges and such would be just the thing to get me to write more.
