What ho, just thought I'd pass along a link to some amusing Wodehouse tidbits - I especially like the advertising one, myself.

I'd be inclined to say Wodehouse was deliberately ripping off a Saki character in "The Secret Pleasures of Reginald," if not for this line:

It sounded like an epigram, but epigrams are so little associated with Reggie that I ventured to ask what he meant.

...which obviously doesn't suit Saki's Reginald (http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/2830). Still. The title, and everything.

XD

Oh my! I still have tears in my eyes from this delightful gem:

'I remember Brigham Young saying to me once with not unnatural chagrin, “You're a lucky man, Wodehouse. It doesn't cost you a nickel to go to a theatre. When I want to take in a show with the wife, I have to buy up the whole of the orchestra floor. And even then it's a tight fit.”'

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
