An idea is taking form in my head. It's not defined yet and it's doomed to remain in my head and never become a written story, since it's about Jeeves and Wooster
and if there's something that scares me more than trying to write in English,it's trying to write in English attempting to capture the style and the Humor of PG Wodehouse.
the story would be called JEEVES AND THE WEDDING BELLS and would be narrated, as usual,by Bertie.
It would start with Bertie in front of the altar, smiling fondly while the wedding march play in the background and the spouse walks toward him.
In the first rows there would be all Bertie's aunts beaming, especially Aunt Agatha, and his cousins and friends betting about whenandhow he's going to escape (and it's Aunt dahlia who keeps the book on it)
Truth be told Bertie feels jittery but while looking at the bride,he exchanges a furtive glance at Jeeves, who nods approvingly and immediately he feels better.
He can't help but notice that his future wife do the same with Mrs Jeeves and after that her smile becomes a bit less formal.
Seeing he's introduced Mrs Jeeves he realizes he started to tell the story from the middle and decides to go back and start from the beginning.
It all started some months ago when, during a cruise in the Mediterranean sea,He and Jeeves met accidentally the future Mrs Wooster and her maid, the future Mrs. Jeeves...
Despite its appearance, this story would be 100% Jeeves/Wooster and turn several times into situations labeled NC17 (or as close to NC17 as writing pretending to be Bertie would allow).
You know,I've seen writers looking for beta readers and editor several times, and i can't help wonder if it may works the other way around ^__^
