Hellos everyone, I'm new here and I just thought I'd sportingly share this link I found to FREE E-books of P.G. Wodehouse. I found this very useful and convenient since I absolutely LOVE Plum, but unfortunately don't have all the money in the world to buy his every single one of his hundred books. I do own all the Jeeves series though, I'm delighted to report. There are only 32 titles on this site, 2 of which are Jeeves: My Man Jeeves and Right Ho Jeeves. About three or four Psmiths though that I'm going to get to reading right now. If anybody else knows of any good links to Wodehousian books on the net, I'd love to hear about them. Here's mine:

Oh, and for a little bit about me. I currently have two Jooster stories in the works. One of which I already posted part of on Slash Cotillion. I did this just to see if anybody out there was actually reading Jooster. Imagine my delight when someone reviewed back and mentioned this LJ! My first story is called "Jeeves Under Fire" but I won't be posting it here until I'm completely finished (I learned my lesson long ago about posting incompletes or inprocess ofs). I am on my way to finishing it though (if my friend who I let borrow my "Jeeves and the Tie that Binds" ever returns it... never loaning out again! I can't survive without it!) and hopefully it should be up sometime in the New Year (once again, don't hold me to this, I'll try but I'm terrible with deadlines).

This is actually my first LJ posting! Talk about being a newbie...

Sincerely pleased to meet all of you,
Isabelle

Welcome! Thanks for the heads up on the ebooks, btw. I find that even if I have a hard copy of something (I don't have those two, alas), the ebooks come in handy for word searching or quick reference away from home.

Yes, you must finish it. I can't wait to see what happens next.

UPenn seems to be closely associated with Project Gutenberg - http://www.gutenberg.org/ - where I got started on reading Jeeves, and downloaded "Mike," "Mike and Psmith" (which, to my regret, turned out to actually be the second half of "Mike"), "Psmith in the City" and "Psmith, Journalist."
