I've been thinking about Jeeves' "sir", and the old brain caught a wave. I know he's required to use it, meeting standards of high quality gentlemen' gentlemen and all that... but aside from that, I think he often uses it as most people use the rolling of their eyes. and occasionally he uses it as a wink. ^_-
