You know how Jeeves is always on about "the psychology of the individual"? There could be, of course, a million different reasons why he is fond of psychology, but check this out--

So I'm currently reading Neil McKenna's The Secret Life of Oscar Wilde, which is basically a biography of his sex life. Come to find out that when psychologists started getting interested in the possible causes of "sexual inversion", the word "psychological" came to be a euphemism for "homosexual".

Yes, it's a stretch, but we're fangirls. Do we really care?

Yay! a fanboy! And, I think it's kinda funny how on the Internet we set the default gender for everyone else as our own. Suck on that, feminists-who-insist-on-gender-inclusive-language-at-all-times! Seriously, I don't care if people refer to all of humaity as "mankind", I would still assume everyone on the Internet is female until proven other.

Oh, God, I've just got that book out of the library. Surprisingly enough, I don't think it's going to help me much with my essay - but it certainly is fun. I particularly like the cover-portrait. ;)
