Rules:
1) A drabble is, by definition, a 100-word story therefore all responses should be 100 words exactly, no exceptions.
2) You may also choose to respond to this challenge with a five-minute sketch.
3)PLEASE put the word DRABBLE at the top of your post. That way people can easily spot the drabbles in amongst any reader comments they receive.
RATING:I don't think this should be limited so reader beware that they could be any rating (you could put it in the subject line if you feel it needs it)

PLEASE try to remember to make each drabble a comment in response to the original post. That way, if the comments start to collapse, the drabbles themselves should remain visible.

Date: 2013-05-24 02:34 am (UTC)“Jeeves?” Bertie had a strange, tingly feeling all over, and his little Bessie had gone missing. “Jeeves?” He wandered down the corridor. The paragon of valets stood in the hallway, flushed and panting. Bertie, too, had turned rather rubicund. He heaved like a stevedore. “Jeeves, have you seen Bessie?”
“Yes, sir,” came the strangled reply. Bertie’s trousers tightened. He gripped the wall to keep from flinging himself on Jeeves and becoming most unseemly.
“Ah, whatsit?” Jeeves pushed open the door.
The two daemons had formed a single ball of pulsing fur.
Bertie and Jeeves joined hands and edged slowly away.

Date: 2013-05-25 12:49 am (UTC)Bertie rested his head against Jeeves’s shoulder. Every nerve ending in his body throbbed. “I, ah, didn’t, whatsit, Jeeves.” In Jeeves’s lair, Bessie and Regina growled and moaned as they twined together in the throes of passion.
The Jeevesian arm encircled the slender waist. “Bessie has been sleeping with you, sir. You called her ‘yours.’”
Bertie flushed as Jeeves nuzzled his hair. “Sorry. That was not preux, Jeeves.”
Jeeves smiled against the golden head. “I do not believe it is wise to deny ourselves, sir.”
Bertie grinned. “Bally topping, Jeeves. Might I…?”
“It would be my very great pleasure, sir.”

Date: 2013-05-26 01:25 am (UTC)One of the many things that irritate Aunt Agatha about me is my daemon's 'choice' of shape. She doesn't seem to grasp that Daisy just took the shape of a monkey one day and that was that. We had honestly both thought she would settle as a bird, maybe a goldfinch. But her little hands have come in useful more than once, and with all the climbing about I do, I suppose she had to be something that could do the same. Jeeves of course has just the daemon he's supposed to. Christiana is a flat-coated retriever, black and sleek.

Date: 2013-05-27 08:04 pm (UTC)My deamon - Wilberforce - is a dog. You think that would please the relations. Aunt D has a hound. Runs with the hunt and everything. Loyal and honest. Aunt A also went canine. MacIntosh is a terrier and apparently that means scrappy and brave.
You think they’d have been happy for me when WIlby settled. They weren’t.
Wilby settled as a poodle. Curly haired, ginger, fourteen inches at the shoulder. Wagging tail and friendly bark. Good company.
But the Aunt’s call him mentally negligible.

Date: 2013-05-27 08:15 pm (UTC)Seemed a bit off for such a large man, but servant’s avatars do tend to be quiet creatures, so I took his word on the matter and let it go. Not preux to get overly familiar with another’s familiar and all that.
It was two years later, ‘mist one of our outrageous adventures, that I met the tiger.

Characters: GFN, Bertie, daemon!Jeeves
With apologies to Wodehouse for my imperfect imitation of his prose.
Gussie looked even more of the marine persuasion than usual: he’d been hoping for his daemon Salia to settle as some sort of newt. Of course, it was not preux to rub the fellow’s nose in it, for he looked low enough already when he saw Jeeves curled neatly round my shoulder. But Jeeves is less scrupu-thingummy about these things than Bertram, so naturally he couldn’t resist asking Salia about the thickness of her shell, with that thingness in his voice that means he is scheming. She popped back into her shell looking positively miffed, if turtles can have expressions.

Date: 2013-06-16 08:08 am (UTC)“Sir, you must look your best tonight,” Jeeves murmured with subtle chastisement, straightening Bertie’s tie, then flicking his lapels and shoulders with his little brush.
“Such a fuss, Jeeves,” Bertie sighed, a hint of fondness lurking on his map.
On the floor nearby, Bertie’s river otter daemon Aeluaz capered excitedly around Jeeves’ serene Saimae. Eventually, the panther daemon tumbled Aeluaz onto his back with one big sable paw. Despite Aeluaz’ initial squirminess, Saimae kept him in place effortlessly, proceeding to groom Aeluaz with measured strokes of his pink tongue until Aeluaz subsided, tilting his head back with a happy sigh.
A/N: Since my Muse can't keep any idea down to 100 words without some bits squeezing out around the edges, I feel compelled to share some of what got trimmed/wouldn't fit. Bertie calls his daemon 'Lu' and Jeeves' daemon 'Mae' (like may), despite Jeeves professing to find it too familiar. Whenever Mae is basking by the fire on a chilly evening, Lu scampers over and unashamedly curls up with him.
