I'm studying chinese for all I'm worth tonight.
I took a ten-twenty minute break however and doodled some random jooster action! Whee~

I wish I had a story behind this >:I!
Oh and when I get the time to, I'd love to make a short Visual Novel (knietic or interactive) with these two. It would be awesome.
But now back to the chinese textbook ;_;... Zaijian!

Date: 2013-01-10 04:01 am (UTC)I love China (Hong Kong included). I am not learning Cantonese... but I trust I'll get by with my crappy Mandarin + English the day I decide to visit China's south coast c;!

Date: 2013-01-09 02:25 pm (UTC)one of the CUTEST pics ever...
Bertram Wilberforce Wooster ankled back to the old homestead full of vim and vigor, not to mention novel ideas. “Jeeves?” Hat flew to hatrack, whangee to umbrella stand.
Soundless, he shimmered into being beside me. “Yes, sir?” In days past, the young master would have started at this apparition, but I was used to it.
“The young master has just come from the Drones, Jeeves.”
The coat was removed from the willowy frame and hung up. “Somewhat before your usual time, sir.” He adjusted a few minor details of the Wooster wardrobe, frowned at my pink socks, and stood, as if waiting for some excuse to send his giant brain into operation.
“The fellows, you know, the eggs and beans and crumpets as it were, were speaking of a thingummy which dare not speak its whatsit.” Bertram had believed such things to be among those to be put aside as childish, as the Scripture says, but it is always best to consult with Jeeves on matters that remain darkly through a glass. It seemed almost as though this new intelligence might explain some of the floundering in the Wooster love life and disinclination for baby talk around fiancees.
Jeeves seemed to shift his weight uneasily. “Not all men put such things away, sir.”
The old onion reeled. “Not all?”
“No, sir.” The fellow seemed somewhat pinker than usual. “Surely, sir you are aware of the…”
“But, it’s not, er, that is, ah, it’s all for show. A kind of joke, Jeeves.”
“Indeed, sir.” This was said in a soupy tone to end all soupy tones.
“But, I say, Jeeves, this is not possible. How could two fellows feel the pash that…” And then the Jeevesian lips were upon the Wooster mouth and the young master would have spluttered had the labial region not been otherwise engaged. As it was, I had to settle for goggling like an oaf.

Date: 2013-01-10 04:42 am (UTC)You have no idea how much I love this. This is fantastic for many reasons, the first two I can think of being how my doodle suddenly got context and how your great work brightened my mood drastically!
As I said earlier, I might want to make a short fluffy visual novel for fun in the future. Maybe you could give me permission to illustrate one of your existing Jeeves/Wooster-stories? A Visual Novel is an interactive text-based game with(or without) in-game options that may alter the storyline. The base of any good VN a good story; but a good story gets better with plenty of graphics, effects and music!

You don't have to decide right away but please consider it.

Date: 2013-01-10 02:35 pm (UTC)You have no way of knowing this, but this has been one of my fantasies since I saw a talk about the Watchmen interactive text-based game at the Popular Culture Association.
We could maybe do a couple of simple practice things for that fan_flashworks and see how that goes?

Date: 2013-01-10 04:53 pm (UTC)I know the simplified programming language for an engine made specifically for the purpose of VN/RPG creation. All I need is a story that takes at least five to ten minutes for an average reader to get through! We could get more advanced and add different scenarios based on the player's choices (splitting paths or an invisible/visible point-based system) but a kinetic novel that leaves the player passively enjoying the experience is not bad either.
When you have decided what text I should build the game upon, I'll draw character sprites, backgrounds and then start programming :3!
Thank yoou~

Date: 2013-01-10 10:47 pm (UTC)I am so flexible I almost hoped you wouldn't ask! haha.
Clingy girls and/or angry aunts make for fun sprites and some variation, so I'd prefer having at least one of a couple of female characters making appearances. Other than that I guess anything goes, as long as it's fun and cute and has some jooster fluff! Oh, and sticking to the canon setting would be nice. Nothing wrong with AU, but I have been longing to draw some "familiar" places and faces c:!

Date: 2013-01-11 03:13 am (UTC)I will start working on the programming right away tomorrow! It's always best to get the technical stuff down first. I'll also look for fitting royalty free sound effects & tunes. I'll message you updates :)!

Date: 2013-01-11 11:51 am (UTC)Three weeks had passed since Bertram had visited Brinkley Court. The wrist had been broken and Aunt Dahlia told Jeeves she was dying and paid him some immense sum to stay with me. Bally awful. The wrist still ached dreadfully, and no word had been had from the aged r. Uncle Tom said she seemed calmer at the New Year and that likely she would see Wooster in another week or two. All-in-all not the most oofa-cum-spiff situation.
And then there was Jeeves. He’d been dashed tender and affectionate, staying in the bed with the young master for some days, but left off after I’d slept through the night. I’d been trying to build up the nerve to speak to him about it, but the wrist had been bally aching and the very night I’d started in, Mabel Biffen stopped by and interrupted us. Jeeves had poured me a soothing mixture and Bertram had bedded down, hopeful of having some peace to speak to him the next morning.
