Rules:
1) A drabble is, by definition, a 100-word story therefore all responses should be 100 words exactly, no exceptions.
2) You may also choose to respond to this challenge with a five-minute sketch.
3) PLEASE put the word DRABBLE at the top of your post. That way people can easily spot the drabbles in amongst any reader comments they receive.
RATING: I don't think this should be limited so reader beware that they could be any rating (you could put it in the subject line if you feel it needs it)
PLEASE try to remember to make each drabble a comment in response to the original post. That way, if the comments start to collapse, the drabbles themselves should remain visible.

Date: 2012-10-05 09:48 pm (UTC)“…doo wacka doo wacka doo wacka doo…” Bertie wandered into the room, running his fingers through his graying mop of once-golden hair. Jeeves looked up from the ironing board, frowning. He had never learned to trust the newfangled irons.
“Is that the television?”
“Yes.”
“It gets a good sound. Do you remember the first do-wacka-do song?”
The Jeevesian eyebrow lifted. “Indeed, sir.”
“Why the soupy tone? I heard you singing along.”
“You played it the first night we, er, kissed.”
“I’d forgotten that bit.”
“Indeed.”
“Would you be amenable to some, er, kissing, now, love?”
“With the greatest pleasure, darling.”

Date: 2012-10-08 06:57 pm (UTC)“This is corking, what?” Bertie poked his whangee at a display about sugar.
“Yes, sir.”
“And look, a Burmese whatsit.”
“Extremely striking, sir.”
“Good. I will join Tuppy for the film about milk. This is just like a world tour.”
“Indeed, sir.”
“Why the soupy tone? Dash it, Jeeves. Don’t you like it…? ”
“Of course, sir. You are most generous.”
“Bally whatsit! Paris. Two months?”
“And the Riviera, sir?”
“Fine two more, but we must stay put somewhere simple.”
“Yes, sir.”
“And…oh, never mind.”
“Sir?”
“It’s silly.”
“Really, sir?”
“We’ll share a bedroom?”
“Sir? Oh. Yes, please!”
“Corking, Jeeves.”

Date: 2012-11-18 08:12 am (UTC)“However did you three apprehend a burglar, while simultaneously assaulting a policeman?” Aunt Dahlia demanded loudly enough to tinkle the chandelier’s crystals. She certainly beat out Constable Dimmock for volume.
“Well, Auntie D—” began Eustace, but Dahlia stopped him with a gesture, setting her gaze upon Bertie.
“You, young blot, will explain this nincompoopery!”
“We’d been to the cinema, aunt of my bosom. Have you seen ‘The Sea Hawk’? Positively the feline’s nightwear!”
“Good Lord,” Dahlia cried. “Tell me you weren’t ‘sword-fighting’ with walking sticks and stumbled upon a robber being chased?”
Claude muttered, “Well, now she’s ruined it.”
I really must commend Momentarylapse8 for the lovely research into the year 1924! You spoil us terribly, old thing! Thank you!
