Alright. So who else screamed when they saw Rowan Atkinson show up in the Opening Ceremonies? Huh?
I know I was laughing! (still am)

(Yeah, I'm stretching the Jeeves Wooster/Blackadder/Mr.Bean connection just a tidge, but I really want to be excited about it with someone, none of my real life family or friends care as much. heh heh)

We were all cracking up when we saw Rowan. I even said, "It's a race, it's a race! I'm winning, I'm winning!" before they cut to the dream sequence. HEEE!

After reading your post, I realized they should have included Blackadder too (especially Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry)

I know, right!? I was kinda expecting a Blackadder sketch about the history of the Olympic games and how the Marathon was a tribute to "some stupid Greek who too stupid to just catch a ride to Athens" or something. But I can see why they went with Mr.Bean. Blackadder wouldn't be easy for people who don't speak English to understand. Mr.Bean is physical comedy which is a universal language.
