Sorry, but that's how the book had it. Guess the author was so busy researching everything else, he couldn't be bothered to look up the correct title. =)
I also thought it was weird that On was capitalized and the wasn't, but wasn't sure if that was a grammar thing or a just preference. And my flatmate pointed out that the sentence wasn't technically a run-on, just really long and meandering.
