I think the problem with the women is not just that they're all traditionally pretty (well, you could argue about Honoria and Emerald, but they're hardly unattractive either). It's that the period makeup and hairstyles conceal their individuality somewhat. I'm half tempted to just show them all right after they've got up in the morning.
