Yeah, I feel like Skidmore came out of his shell a bit for this one. There are actual facial expressions and reactions going on! And his Comrade Butt is absolutely magnificent. (He actually did a really good job on Sidney Hemmingway/Soapy Sid, too, as you'll see shortly -- seems like he's better with secondary characters than he is with our dear protagonists!)
I also really love that picture of Bertie. Such a simple drawing, but it captures his personality so well.
