I really get the feeling that Jeeves in canon is actually a very approachable man, else people wouldn't come to him in droves for help, so I try to convey that air of general kindliness when drawing him. Which is not to say he can't also be super intimidating when he wants to be .;D
I've thought about trying that method, but it would me with a bunch of crappy sketches I can't erase, which is deeply bothersome to me. It may be unreasonable, but I hate wasting paper. At east with pencil I can erase and reuse it.
