Anyway, Chuffy mentions Bertie's blue eyes when they're trying to convince Bertie to take Sir Roderick's place in the potting shed. It's in "Thank You, Jeeves" ch.21.
Bertie does compare Jeeves to a father, but he also compares him to an uncle, a mother, a nannie, and a wife. :D
