This was hot and amusing! Jeeves trying to get Wooster to be direct and Berti knowing how threatening Jeeves's shoes will drive Jeeves to do what Berti needs him to! One thing though, the first major paragraph of text ends with 'came with being both Bertie’s lover.' I guess you meant being both Bertie's lover and valet? Also, I totally love the line 'for though he was a paragon, Jeeves was no mind reader'
