That "damned man" scene and the ensuing chase is by far one of the funniest in the series.
I like reading femmeslash for the show, though I don't write any of it. For some reason, it's the only fandom for which I'll read femmeslash. It must be as the previous poster said - these women suit each other better than they suit Bertie.
I'm thinking Florence Craye needs an equally strong partner, whether man or woman. She likes to run things, but I also think she'd not feel compromised if she now and then submitted to someone who is her intellectual and temperamental equal. They'd get great pleasure in learning how to play each other with both of them thinking they'd got their own way in everything. A pairing like that might be tiring to watch, though. I'd rather see them join forces in an attempt to outwit Jeeves or something like that, which of course can't be done.
