I thought the same thing about SCM when I recently watched Bright Young Things.
I can't really think of anybody who I think would be perfect to play the characters - for me the roles would probably best be filled by unknowns. But when I saw the new Sherlock Holmes, I thought Mark Strong might work for Jeeves. No idea whether he'd actually be able to pull off the character, but he at least has a rather Jeevesy (http://movies.tvguide.com/sherlock-holmes/photos/298127/1) look (http://www.aceshowbiz.com/still/00004051/sherlock_holmes21.html) about him.
