Hello everyone, long time lurker here though I haven't posted any work as I can not trust myself to fully capture the tone of these lovely characters (am slowly, but surely working my way up from Inspector Lewis/Hathaway before I attempt any J/W). I was buying new clothes for a hopeful temp job as a receptionist and a sudden thought hit me: What would happen if Bertie was a receptionist/personal assistant to Jeeves, a successful lawyer/economic/whathaveyoucetera who has been recently transferred to the city headquarters? So I put it to your fantastic minds, if I may, to possibly carry it further? Of course my mind jumps to 'The Secretary' w/ James Spader by default, but you can make it as fluffy or as kinky as you like. Just thought some of you would have fun with a prompt like this, if I'm allowed to post prompts ^^; xx
EDITED by kind prodding to post my explanation of point better than my initial fail-ness:
"an AU where both men aren't actually living together under one roof cetera. I wonder how they would come to have a relationship if they only saw each other at work and went home to separate houses, or how Jeeves or Bertie would do a bit of office flirting, so on and so forth, because a lot of stories focus on them living together, living together then being separated, being childhood friends and making vows so forth. Thought that with a strictly professional atmosphere where they only see each other when they're not alone would be a little twist that someone would have a bit of fun writing ^^;"
