Thank you very much! I was hoping that this chapter might make you feel a little better about Right Ho, Jeeves. The whole story is written to help me feel better about that book. Such a tough book! I've felt like smacking both of them while reading it. I completely believe that Bertie and Jeeves did some thinking and working on the relationship between RHJ and The Code of the Woosters.

Bertie was always so willing to put his friends' interests above his own that I think that he would be willing to take the blame if they were caught. The honesty comes from reading RHJ. He certainly let readers see his faults! Jeeves will get that apology and Bertie will find Jeeves is experiencing some remorse of his own. Bertie sounds more mature from The Code of the Woosters onward. He also sounds more secure about Jeeves staying with him. I think the events in RHJ ultimately helped the relationship but it sure makes for some tough reading!
