Thank you so much! I'm so happy that Bertie seems done well. I have more trouble writing Bertie than I do Jeeves. I think Bertie did have a very sweet, good nature but Right Ho, Jeeves shows that he had his nasty moments, too. Overall, though, I believe that his nature was a kind one and that he would be more concerned for Jeeves than himself in normal circs. He was always putting his friends before his own best interests. Yet he was strong willed about matters. Wodehouse really did well with Bertie. He made him complex as real people are. In the Code of the Woosters, Bertie talks about two strong willed men living together, and he seems to have a good idea of how he is and how Jeeves is, and he's fine with it.
