Have I recently told you how much I love this fic and its companion? Well, I really, really love this. One of the greatest fics there is in this fandom.
What was so good in this chapter was how Bertie had to go through it all and learn from the mistakes they both had made. The bit where he accepts that if the time comes, he can take all the blame for the relationship is lovely. And it is good to show that Bertie has more emotions and the thing hurted him more than was told in the book.
