I just rewatched that episode now, and I SQUEAKED when he made that face, I swear. Of course, it helped that I was alone in the house and wouldn't get any nasty looks by squeaking at the television, but yes.
Though, my reaction was more along the lines of "Did he just flourish? Is he doing Jeeves with a flourish? Stephen! That was a flourish, I saw that! The only person in the world who could make Jeeves make that face and still make it fit. Damn you and your irresistability, Fry!"
... but I like yours better, and in retrospect, yes, that's exactly what it looked like. I'm quite disappointed in my own brain now for not having realised it at the moment.
