What Gussy Shouldn’t Have Seen
“Bertie, there you are! I need your help, Madel…Oh…my…”
“Oh god…Jeeves!”
“Sir, please let me up, we have to help him.”
“Oh god, Jeeves, is that blood?”
“Sir, please, get off me, Mr. Fink-Nottle needs medical attention.”
“But…but, why wasn’t the door locked? And why is that table placed there?”
“Sir! Get off me immediately!”
“Of course, of course…Jeeves, there is so much blood!”
“Sir, I will go and get help. Please stay with Mr. Fink-Nottle and press this towel to his head as firmly as you can.”
“Right, right…But Jeeves, what will you tell them? You can’t say that Gussy caught us in flagrante delicto, fainted and banged his head on the sidetable!”
“I will think of something, please just stay with Mr. Fink-Nottle, I will be right back.”
“Oh Gussy, please wake up! I’m so sorry, we should have locked the door…Jeeves is getting help, don’t worry. Oh Gussy, hold on, old thing. Just breathe, please breathe…”
