Er, I think he wears a uniform exactly like the one Stephen Fry wears in the TV show, from morning till night. It is only the upper classes who feel the need to change three times a day. I think the coattails is not worn in the kitchen or when doing serious cleaning. And he substitutes it for other jackets/coats according to the weather when outdoors... Not certain on any of this, sorry.
