Where's Chuffy?

indeedsir_backupI have posted a similar enquiry elsewhere - please accept my apologies if you have already read this. I've been watching the Granada 'Jeeves and Wooster' episodes whilst off sick and, as always, enjoying Matthew Solon as Marmaduke "Chuffy" Chuffnell.
I also recently noticed him in another Granada series, Sherlock Holmes, in the episode 'The Norwood Builder', playing "the unhappy John Hector Macfarlane".
But does anyone have any idea what's happened to him? He was so great in both these productions and yet he seems to have disappeared, according to IMDB, around 1995. Thanks.
