Two pictures

This is part of a collaboration with vensre, who asked if I'd be interested in illustrating some scenes from her unfinished (and super hot) fic. She deserves all the credit for inspiring these. :)

There'll be probably four more pictures to come, which I'll continue post in groups of two.

ETA: Oops, I misremembered. There's three left.



His fingers brushed the palm of my hand, an area which (improbably) seemed directly connected via nerves to other body parts. It didn't take long to realise he was doing it on purpose. I opened my hand and let him touch, a slightly aching pleasure washing over and
over me.




I listed towards him and he moved to meet and support me. I turned, and, greatly daring (or so it felt), slid my arms loosely around his
waist. His breath rushed out of him. Then he responded, placing one
hand on the back of my neck and, in a greatly subdued, extremely
characteristic version of the motion, embraced me. He bent to touch
his lips to the top of my head.

(Your pictures are always stunning, btw. I don't think I've commented to say that before; not just well-executed but with an almost old-fashioned style that really makes them perfect for the subject-matter.)

vensre told me it's not likely that she'll finish it, but it's still possible that she may do so someday.

Thank you, and yay, old-fashionedness! I'm so glad you think they look that way - I try to not give the pictures a shiny new modern appearance, since it doesn't quite fit with the subject matter/time period. Heh...I guess it's a good thing I can't make the backgrounds white in Photoshop when I upload the pictures!

Oh, I don't know. The stories hint that he's a big romantic, so I have no trouble seeing him that way when he's in private. Besides, Bertie could probably bring out the sweetness in anyone!

I love you so hard right now. Oh god, the second one is just so full of cuteness and love that it makes one wiggly and cheerful. And the first one, with the fabric folds and the fingers and the intense look of concentration, is just lovely. Can't wait until the next pictures are ready!

Lovely as always. ^_^ I was noticing in these two (especially the first one), just how good you are at shading to show shape--all the various lines of Jeeves's face which make it so distinctive, captured by subtle gradations of colour. I'm not expressing myself very well, but it looks fantastic, and very realistic.

Thank you! It's taken me a long time to become familiar with the contours of the face and where light and shadow hit it, and I still have a lot to learn, but I'm very glad it looks realistic to you!
