And so it begins!

Here be the first contribution to [livejournal.com profile] niektete's fantastic world tour compilation-fic, in which our boys take a little trip to Coney Island. I had planed on taking an actual trip down there (easy subway ride from my house), but fate decreed otherwise. So, I had Wikipedia as my guide. I tried to stay as period as I could within the 1920-1925, which unfortunately means that I couldn't send them on the Cyclone. Multiple events in this fic, namely the bag on fire, the Staten Island Ferry, the fainting, the sunset, and the sleeping at the end were all drawn from things that have actually happened to me, though not necessarily at Coney Island. And yes, one of my swimsuits is actually the same color as Bertie's.

Also, I remember in the first post that established-relationship!Jooster was a possibility for this project, so I merged that with multiple people's desires for me to do more of Jeeves and the Bed For Two and wrote this chapter as a sort of continuation of that fic (they were on a ship to America, after all ;D). Who knows? This could leave open the possibility for developing-relationship!Jooster throughout this project.

On second thought, it would be REALLY AWESOME if that happened.

SO. YES. WITHOUT FURTHER ADIEU. LET THE GRAND ADVENTURE BEGIN.

Title: Jeeves and the Three O'Clock Wager
Pairing: Jeeves/Bertie
Summary: An interesting Notion interrupts Bertie at his writing desk. Fluff ensues.
Rating: PG
Words: 3,000-ish
Disclaimer: I own nobody and nothing. This is my first attempt at Jooster, so go easy on a poor girl, there's a good chap.  Or chapess, as the case may be.

"I say!" I I-sayed, for the notion that had just popped into the Wooster brain was as deserving of I-saying as any I ever ran across... )

Now both of my videos live here for your viewing pleasure...
They are "Jeeves and Wooster: Leather and Lace"
and "Fry and Laurie: Me and My Shadow", respectively.

Do tell me if they're not behaving (this is probably the last time I'm even gonna try).

Toodlepip, Comrades.
