Thank you

What ho all!

I've been lurking around on this community for a bit and thought I'd just remark on how everything I've seen here is absolutely astounding. I've got a working knowledge of fanfiction but what I've read here really just is top notch. So marvelous I think I've been inspired to try my hand at some myself for the first time. If any of you have advice for first time writers I'd love to hear it!

It took me awhile to catch on to "Jooster", but now that I have it's simply perfect. Thank you so much for this community and all the work on it!

What-ho all! I come bearing a Jooster fic!

Er, greetings all. I'm a little nervous about posting this, it's the first time I've tried writing even remotely slashy fic - actually, the first bit of fanfic I've ever finished - so... go gentle on it?

That said, all comments and concrit are greatly appreciated.

Title: Of Swords and Shepherds
Fandom/Pairing: PG Wodehouse, Jeeves/Wooster
Rating: PG, maybe PG-13? Although I'm sure I had more graphic sex-ed classes when I was ten so...
Summary: The Aunts decide Bertie is in serious need of some education.
Disclaimer: I don't own Jeeves or Wooster or indeed any characters mentioned here. PG Wodehouse/ the Wodehouse Estate have all rights on them, I've just borrowed them for the time being.

Also, not my story idea. I was reading a fic last night and in the comments someone had requested a fic along the same lines as this one from the author, which as far as I know never materialised. If you feel I've stolen your plot idea, I'm terribly sorry and if you have written your own one, post the link cos I wanna read it too!

If you'll step this way sir/ madam...

Quick What Ho & Toodle Pip

First the What ho!  I've been lurking and commenting on the marvy posts in this community for a little while now and never really said 'Hullo, all' so ....  Hullo, all!  *cheery wave*

The middle bits... )
And now:  Toodle pip!

Yet Another Yuletide Fic!

A belated Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, folks! Here's the story I'd written for the Yuletide 2008 Challenge. I was mortified to see the number of typographical errors I'd made in a hurry, so I decided to upload the revised version.

Title: Jeeves and the Hot Pursuit
Recipient: Kahvi
Summary: Jeeves gives Maiden Eggesford the slip to go to New York. Bertie gets to the bottom of the matter. Closely linked with the events of "Aunts Aren't Gentlemen".
Rating: NC-17
Disclaimer: Wodehouse owns the boys, and no one else can shoulder that responsibility.
Feedback: I would go into grave depression without it. Comments would be the best gifts I could get.

You no longer qualify as a bachelor, sir. )

"I say, Jeeves, you've most definitely got an introduction with the New York Nocturnals pending. But what if I extend my condition as the winner, and ask that you take me along in case you decide to go painting those marvellous nightclubs red, tonight?"

"Your wish is my command, sir."

Links to old Cotillion fics

In trying to find the fic this poor person is searching for here, I was convinced that the now-dead Cotillion would have it. No dice, I guess, but here is a list of the old Jooster fics I remembered from that site, with links to their .txt pages. It's difficult to read in this format, but you could easily copy and paste it into a word or Google doc for easier browsing. And authors, if these fics are now living in a better home now, let us know! Because the .txt files didn't retain the fics' titles, I could only provide a stupid, brief summary for them unless I happened to remember the title. OH, and if I missed any fics, please feel free to add them in the comments. Whew! That was a lot of work. *dies*

Please excuse my awful summaries of these darling stories. )

Looking for a fic

Hello, people! Happy New Year!
I've been lurking around these parts for quite some time now and reading the wonderful fics you've all been posting. Well done! I am a huge fan of the fandome and am enjoying myself immensely. Thank you!
If I'm breaking any rules with this post I apologize. Feel free to delete it if it doesn't belong here. I thought I'd risk it because there's this fics that's been driving me insane for day now - I remember reading it some time ago, but no matter how hard I try I can't seem to find it anywhere nor can I remember what's it called. Here's what I do remember:
It's a Jooster fic, of course. Bertie is in love with Jeeves and tries telling him, but J. misunderstands and(this bit's a bit hazy)thinks that Bertie's just coming out. Then they go to some sort of a gay club together and Jeeves finds a boyfriend or a lover and Berties heartbroken and remains to be so for the rest of the fic till Jeeves gets a clue.
Does any of this rings any bells?
Thanks in advance everybody. I appreciate all the help.

Looking for story

Hi, everyone. This is my first time posting as well, although I have been lurking for a while now. :)
I'm actually posting in the hope that someone will remember a story that I've been craving--although sadly my memory of it is pretty nonexistent.
All I remember is Bertie actually reading a book--some kind of Serious Literature--for some reason. I'm sure that he really did read it, not just intended to read it. I think maybe it was to get Jeeves to respect him more? Or maybe to have something to talk about with Jeeves?
I realize that I'm not giving you guys much to go on--sorry! Hopefully someone might know what I'm talking about? Thanks so much! *crosses fingers*

Jeeves and the Rugby Match

Title: Jeeves and the Rugby Match. Or: The Idiots Guide to Grabbing Crotch
Rating: I'd stray on the upper end of PG-13
Fandom/Pairing: Jeeves and Wooster/ Jooster
Summary: Jeeves gets coerced into a rugby match, and Bertie's got a grand plan.
Length: ~7000
Disclaimer: Don't own them, although they're quickly becoming parts of the public domain.

Quite fond of this fandom, although I'm not sure on my Jeeves voice quite yet, and the length tended to get away with me, it's a fun thing to write for.
