Disclaimer: Jeeves and Bertie Wooster are the brainchildren of the inimitable P.G. Wodehouse.  Sammy Clay, Tracy Bacon, and the Escapist are the marvellous creations of wunderkind Michael Chabon (who can totally father my babies if his wife gives him permission)
Comments: *sigh* There's just not enough Kavalier and Clay fanfiction out there.  But in case you have not read Kavalier and Clay, YOU SHOULD.  That being said, you should still be able to follow this story without reading the novel (the greatest novel of all time).  I exposite like a lady of the evening, but hopefully it does not interfere with the flow of the story.  But in case it’s not clear, Sammy and Tracy’s relationship is canon.  This story takes place in 1941.
