I was pondering, as one does, upon the life and times of Bertie Wooster, and I started thinking about the fact that he must've been through at least one war. Jeeves, too, come to think of it. So I was wondering - what would've happened to them? Would Bertie have ended up in the army? Would Jeeves? Would their relationship (professional or otherwise) have had to change significantly as a result?
I know relatively little about either WW, and absolutely nothing about what happened to well-off young gentlemen and their valets. Anyone have any ideas?
