Title: All That Glitters Is Not Gold
Pairing: Jeeves/Wooster
Rating: R
Summary: Jeeves doesn't want tips from Bertie anymore. What could he want instead?
Feedback: Much appreciated, especially concrit.
Notes: Based on the habit that Bertie and the gang have of giving Jeeves a little (or a lot) extra in his pay packet whenever he scoops them out of a particularly hairy prob. My initial inspiration came from the end scene in "Bingo Has A Bad Goodwood" from "The Inimitable Jeeves", wherein Bertie gives Jeeves a twenty-pound tip.

Credits: Words cannot adequately express my gratitude to [livejournal.com profile] cicerothewriter and [livejournal.com profile] innocentsmith for absolutely amazing beta-reading and discussion. This story wouldn't exist without them. I salute you both, old things.
Disclaimer: Lies, all lies. And they're Wodehouse's, not mine.

Certainly now you will be abandoning your other commitments, friends and family, and entertaining us full-time? You can take along your betas. I think this would be for the best. We ask so little.

I... okay, posting before I read the story, but I had to say.

You would not believe the embarrassing outburst of excited happy noises I made upon discovering this. It was very high pitched. It... still is. I'm HeeHEEing as I type. Good lord...

You can send your other responsibilities off to us for random completion. I have offered same to my sister over the years, as she completed her M.B.A. and is now working on an M.A. in Japanese. For some reason I have been consistently turned down.

Delightful! Nice rocky beaches, chill wind over the aspect. Take the convertible.
