Chapter 2 up, short again, I like them short and sweet adds suspense too!!

Disclaimer: Don’t own them, Wodehouse does, I own all the people who aren’t his.
As requested, no-one will die who is a proper Wodehouse character and I promise that Jeeves will not go into a murderous jealous rage!
**************************************************************************************

The one thing at Totleigh Towers that makes it bearable is when one finds a secret.
A really good useful sort of secret, such as the one I found this morning while walking from the servant’s quarters, to Mr. Finke-Nottle’s room. I made a mistaken wrong turn and found myself going up some rather suspiciously unstable stairs into a room I dare say was never ever dusted for the whole thing was covered in faded white. All black except for a streak of light coming from the floor, a hole. I don’t know what possessed me to look, but I did and was suddenly very pleased that I did.

A bedroom, and on the bed was Bertie Wooster! Looking most decidedly dishevelled and satisfied. The satisfaction itself walked in and got in with him, it then preceded to wrapped itself about Bertie and continue it’s generosity in giving satisfaction, to Bertie Wooster and to me.

It spoke after a while.
“Bertie?”
“Hmmm?”
“I…it’s nothing.”
Bertie laughed.
“When you say that you really mean: “Gosh Bertie I love you so very very much and I don’t think I shall remove myself from this boudoir, till you speak the word of command….”
To this it gave a slightly amused and critically look.
“Very good, sir.”
Now Bertie gave the look and proceeded to tickle it till they both disappeared beneath the duvet.
I felt the blush run through my face, and much more heated areas requiring attention. I could easily get that attention.

“I say what a terrific morning Barries!”
“So it is Mr. Fink-Nottle.”
“Hmmmm….yes I shall do tennis with Bertie this afternoon, so better get out my white shorts Barries.”
“Yes Sir.”
The easiest thing about working for such a man as Fink-Nottle is that I can wrap the little git round my finger.
I have not decided upon a plan to get Bertie Wooster in my bed and it out of his, I had decided to first begin gathering useful information, not that I didn’t already have good information by watching earlier, I had considered letting the cat out of the bag and having it send away in disgrace and to forever keep it’s hands off of his former young master, and that no one else would touch Bertie I could gallantly take up the post at my own risk. But I thought better against it, as it might jeopardise in some way and that I would be permitted not to consider entering Bertie’s employment. However…this could still be put to use.
I placed the tennis clothes on the bed and moved to straight Fink-Nottle’s waistcoat, Mr. Fink-Nottle is a very sensitive man. Stroking lightly and breathing gently on his neck can do wonders, of course I do this all in the name of better things, as I have mentioned before Mr. Fink-Nottle is a weakling to be made use of.

Some time afterwards I had had him over the bed ad I was smoking as he lay there exhausted.
“ It must be getting near noon sir, you would not want to miss your appointment with Mr. Wooster.”
“Gosh…no…Bertie’s simply wonderful…Barries.”
“Is he sir? In what way sir?”
“Well, not Bertie per say, more like his man Jeeves.”
“I….see.”
“Yes, he’s just sooooooo clever! I mean, he can fix anything! I dare say that book in that club or whatever is simply full of things he’s done for Bertie! I bet he even knows where every little tiny mark is on Bertie…like the mole on his right shoulder, or the little scar on his left elbow and I bet he knows all of Bertie’s weird things…”
“Things? Such as what sir?”
“Oh the usual things I expect…Like waking in the middle of the night for a drink, or….well I guess he knows more than I do….oh and that Bertie played a simply marvellous Juliet in the school production, rumours were after that he did more with the man who played Romeo that was considered appropriate for practise, oh gosh! I wasn‘t suppose to ever say anything about that, ever, to anyone!”
“And you haven’t sir.”
“I told you.”
“Indeed, but am I one for gossip sir?”
“No Barries you are not, alright I suppose you can keep as good a secret as anyone.”
“I thank your confidents sir.”
“Yes, well, I don’t know who this chap was, bit older than he was I think, we were quite young….16 or so, maybe he was one of the trainee teachers or something, anyways, him and Bertie apparently got a bit more friendly than required and they spent the whole summer at it! When Bertie got back they must have broke it or something because he was very sad…. Well it would be completely scandalous if it was leaked you know.”

I have paid my price of the information I have just received.
Now to put it into action.

Sorry about the short chapters, I think it works better for me, plus adds suspense and tension
