If you're running the exchange - which sounds awesome! - maybe consider running it through AO3? Promote it and give community updates on LJ and Tumblr, for sure, but Tumblr-run exchanges (where the signups and posting occur on Tumblr) have an unfortunately very high dropout/failure rate.
