Rules:
1) A drabble is, by definition, a 100-word story therefore all responses should be 100 words exactly, no exceptions.
2) You may also choose to respond to this challenge with a five-minute sketch.
3)PLEASE put the word DRABBLE at the top of your post. That way people can easily spot the drabbles in amongst any reader comments they receive.

RATING:I don't think this should be limited so reader beware that they could be any rating (you could put it in the subject line if you feel it needs it)

PLEASE try to remember to make each drabble a comment in response to the original post. That way, if the comments start to collapse, the drabbles themselves should remain visible.

Drabble: The Old Bognor Spirit

The Jeeves-free fortnight had ended, and still no Jeeves. The young master fretted and pined a restless hour, drinking an anxious tumbler of mead. Finally, the welcome tread sounded. I pranced thither to fling myself into his arms, then froze. The t. of m. nearly tumbled to the floor, but Jeeves caught it midair. “You look like a lobster after the excesses of Bognor.”
“I apologize.”
“That collar must be awfully painful.”
“Admittedly, it is somewhat uncomfortable.”
“Let’s get you into a cooling bath and anointed thoroughly with healing balms.”
“That would be most desirable, my darling.”
“Welcome home, Reg.”

Ooh... poor Jeeves. Sunburn isn't very fun. Great job on this prompt. :) I couldn't think of anything for this word.

Thanks!! You are always so kind.

Random_nexus just did the adorablest (if that is the word I want) excess story. If you have not read it yet, you would likely enjoy it.

And I am totally surprised that you had trouble. You do so well with that random word generator thing.

DRABBLE: A Wild Night Out With The Woosters

Claude and Eustace Wooster, in an effort to make it up to Bertie for landing him in the soup with Aunt Agatha, invited him out for ‘dinner and a few drinks’ on New Year’s Eve; which, however, evolved into a wild whirl of carousing from nightclub to dance hall to jazz club to Bertie losing track. Drinks, dancing, more drinks, music and song were had aplenty, followed by even more drinks. Bertie was an old trooper at handling the blushful hippocrene, but he’d forgotten his cousins could’ve cowed Viking raiders with their excess—much to Bertie’s regret the next morning.

Ouch! Poor Jeeves!
I enjoyed the flavor of this one, if that makes any sense.

Thank-you! Jeeves-in-the-bath flavor is always pleasing to Bertrams
