This has me sitting on the edge. I keep thinking that pilot is going to give them away somehow. He talks to much and he doesn't know who Bertie is.

Has the quote, perchance, been intended entirely italicised?
There're also the 'ragged seems'.

A loaded with hidden money and secret-agent equipment Bertie sounds JamesBond-ish and is very impressive. Jeeves, casually displaying medical know-how, is, of course, rather unsurprising; him as 'Genie' is virtually a nod to the fandom. The pilot does not recommend himself well thus far, plus now they are stuck with an invalid. It's fascinating to see Jeeves bickering with an old acquaintance, and his unsubtle threat of bodily harm is priceless.
The dialogue keeps pointing up the reality of war, and between the journey and an addition to the party I imagine the larger world may soon be re-entered.

Commented on the site there, but want to poke in a nod here, too. Enjoying muchly! Grittier than I generally like my stuff, but the fact that I'm still reading shows you how well you're doing it -- I'd've bailed on a lesser offering by now.
"Genie" heh heh heh.
Ah, yeah. Anticipating more eagerly, as usual.

Dunno why, buy I don't like the guy. Must be the I-can't-stop-talking thingummy. Oh, and the other RAF-- *bows*.
