A joyous message concering music

Ladies! Gentlemen! The World of Jeeves and Wooster is once more available to the public!

I did a random search for Hugh Laurie on iTunes, and finally, the good old songs are available again!  The Dover Street Jazzomaniacs and Bertie Wooster, previously only available by bootlegging (or, asking a kindly person on indeedsir to send the copied files), are now up for downloading at standard iTunes rates ^^ Isn't it marvellous?

The downside, though, is that certain songs are missing. Or rather, the parts which are direct offcuts from the series are. Such as Bertie and Gussie practicing to play for Gertrude.

That's cool, but I wish they'd actually release a physical copy. I don't feel like I own a CD when it's just downloads. :(

They're all up on Youtube,

There's part one.

If anyone wants, I can send a file of the whole thing in mp3...

If you could possibly upload the soundtrack for me, I would worship at your feet for all of eternity.

Living in Australia, it appears that I can't get it over iTunes. I've been looking around for the files on the net for ages now, and it was only the other day that it occurred to me that I could always ask on here. :P

Email is jsontag05@yahoo.com
Drop me a line and I'll drop you the soundtrack!

Was the bit with Bertie & Gussie practicing for Gertrude ever on the soundtrack? I'd only ever seen Minnie the Moocher (Is Alive And Well In Berkeley Square) and Barmy's Choice (Nagasaki) (slightly different versions from those in the actual series) listed on the World of Jeeves And Wooster CD.

Forgot to say *thank you* for the heads up! I did get the soundtrack from YouTube as .flv files and converted them to mp3 files, but I'm happy to purchase them from iTunes.

I'm not finding it :(

I couldn't find it on iTunes, neither with a search for Hugh Laurie nor for Thw World of Jeeves And Wooster.

I generally find iTunes irritating to navigate, anyway, but...*grumble*.

*g* It could be that (ass-ridden whatthefuckery *g*), or maybe it's just that the soundtrack isn't offered in the US, the same as with Amazon -- Amazon.co.uk carries it, but can only sell it to UK customers due to copyright/licensing agreements.

Ass-ridden whatthefuckery does, however, seem to explain why a search for Hugh Laurie at iTunes brings up very, very little.

I guess for now, I'll stick with my own mp3s converted from the YouTube files. :-)

"Whatthefuckery" Is my new word of the day. :) I'm stealing it. Thank you.

I can't remember where I downloaded mine. They're safely stored on my iPod now. Oh, and wanted to say thanks for the heads up. I also wish I could own a physical CD, but more and more stuff is being released only online now.

I guess it's supposed to be better for the environment or something, but it still makes me sad. :( I love gazing at my CD collection, lol.

You can get them on Amazon.co.uk too!

Only if you're in the UK, though. I wish Amazon.com in the US would carry it, but they don't.
