Part 3/15 - wasn't it '/11' previously? The more the better.

And yup, there's a part or two coming up soon that is almost entirely conversation.

Mrs Coote sounds like someone in the intelligence network, based at intelligence HQ. You did say she was a relative, but I like my theory better. :)
Leave it to Jeeves to produce a full meal and baths from nature's bounty!
I'm not really surprised at Jeeves being just a little piqued at Bertie's new self-sufficiency, as after all, Bertie's need of him is his raison d'etre, so to speak. Of course, he can always fall back on his second career as a spymaster...ahem. Anyway, I have been thinking about their nine-year separation and thinking why would they be apart for nine years? After all, that war only lasted six years.
Sorry, thinking too much again! But look how you have got me analysing and wanting to dot Is and cross Ts instead of just saying 'what a great story', LOL.

I have to go out tomorrow (would have preferred the day to myself, sigh) but I will probably be booting up, logging on and looking for part 4 when I come back. :)
Parts 1 and 2?
Thanks for any help.
